Montañas de Pastel

This ongoing series depicts the mountains surrounding Monterrey, Mexico, but rendered as cakes. The landscape is shown being progressively carved and consumed by quarrying activity associated with the cement and construction industries. By representing the mountains as edible forms, the series establishes a visual parallel between appetite, extraction, and resource exploitation, referencing the transformation of the natural landscape through industrial activity.
